This project serves as a complete reference implementation showing how to build a functional web application from concept to deployment using AI assistance.

DayCheck is a simple web app I made that answers one question: how much time has passed since any date. You just pick a date, hit calculate, and it shows you the difference in days, weeks, months, and years. It’s good for figuring out things like how long you’ve been at a job, how many days until your birthday, or how much time was between two events.

It has a clean and colorful interface with a few theme options and works on any device in the browser. I added an “On This Day” feature too so you can see what happened in history on the date you pick.

The whole point is simplicity. No learning curve, nothing complicated. Just pick a date and get your answer. It’s the kind of thing you’d bookmark and pull up whenever you don’t feel like doing the math yourself.

This is a project planning tool that will take specified input from a user looking to start a project, help them determine the best tech stack to use, help them identify the features they actually need, specify security needs, and create instructions that can be used to guide an LLM on the creation of their project.

The goal will be to use ChatGPT 4o-Mini API calls to identify the actual needs of the application, the users skill level, their preferred workflow and their preferred tech stack, and perform a feasibility study to determine the best route to take for the completion of the project and write it out in a way that is easy to understand but with the technical details and instructions behind it to make it a reality with the users skill level.

Due to API costs, a final version to compile it all will be available to provide specific prompts and break down the project into sections for manageability but instructions will also be provided on how to avoid this cost by using free alternatives.
